The rules for the assignment of tests and managing loads of Work must be able to flexibly adapt to the organizational structure of each workshop and to the different types of tests to be treated.
The user first selects the tests that intend to run, by setting one or more criteria, and then he decides, according to which of several “logical views” intends to organize FdL (for Test, for Operator, for Department (with or without BarCode), for Sample , for Instrument, for External Laboratory), also choose from depending on the treated analytical matrix (for example, in the food industry is widespread the use of the Worksheet for sample).
The program offers several possibilities; the laboratory may decide :
- use the Worksheets on paper, to get them to manually fill out by laboratory operators and store these values later on computers;
- Use Excel sheets automatically created by the LIMS to disengage the input from it, while regaining the values without recording; in these sheets, it has managed the audit trail (log) of the subsequent input, to ensure full traceability.
N.B. : The FdL on Excel is a solution for the assignment of tests to external laboratories and the subsequent loading of results without manual transcription; - entrusting the operators in the direct input on video , also using Tablet systems that offer portability and ease of handling, while ensuring the loading of values directly on the DataBase of LIMS;
- acquire the values directly from the Laboratory Instruments (“LIMS-IP” Mod.);
All this happens after automatic assignment and / or manual tasks according to the ratings and verification of daily “operational” workload with supporting graphs and any functionality of work re-allocation.
The results are automatically assigned to the appropriate Sample.
