Paper Document Filing

Archiviazione Documenti CartaceiThe Sub-module Paper Document Filing of LIMS-Doc, integrates the acquisition in the Alfresco Repository of :

  • Spreadsheets produced from LIMS (version with Bar-Code print) on paper
  • Paper documents of any kind, relating to a N ° Acceptance or a N ° sample, after attachment of a label Bar-code produced from LIMS to ensure that, during the scanning of the document is possible to automatically assign it to the correct type document.

The system uses a SW-Package for advanced scan from Document scanner.
Such software is able to identify the bar code printed on the document and store the pdf (or any other format) scanned, identifying it with the bar code read.
It is also able to accept, in the same file, more pages belonging to the same document.

The storage in the repository “Alfresco” is performed simultaneously with the scanning of such documents.
