Direct input data (variables and / or results) on DataBase of LIMS using a Tablet PC that is connected to the System in the Remote connection.
In a Laboratory Test is not always possible for Operators to use data acquisition systems directly from Tools, but it is necessary to register many other information, often in locations and conditions where it is not logistically usable a PC.
It could be particularly useful recording remotely “on the field”, that is, in locations different from that of the Laboratory.
In these cases the ideal is to use portable systems (Tablet-PC) that are able to directly record the information in the database of the LIMS, without having, later, to transcribe.
The Operator has the same Spreadsheets on video that the LIMS “Analysis” already provides, with the only difference that the screens have been appropriately redesigned for the Tablet-PC and the use of the touch screen.
This mode also allows voice input of values.
