The “QR-Code” (Quick Response Code) represents a new opportunity for the rapid identification of information, for example on:

  • Samples (Sample Code, Description, Test Start / End Date, Customer, Test Type, …)
  • Instruments (Instrument, Description, Inventory / Serial Number, Calibration Expiration Date, …)
  • Warehouse items (Item Code, Description, Lot, Expiry, …)

The corresponding layouts of the “QR-Code” Labels can be implemented, so that it is also possible to use a Smartphone to read directly the information characterizing the framed object.
